What is Foundations?
Foundations is a grants management system from IdealixAI. It runs the grant lifecycle, from applications and review through awards, reimbursements and payments, with an audit history on every record.
Who uses it?
Grant administrators and staff use the staff workspace. The schools or organizations they fund use a separate portal to apply, request reimbursement and track payments. Each person sees only what their role allows.
How do I get an account?
Access is by invitation. Your grant administrator adds you, and you sign in with the email address they invited.
Can we use only the parts we need?
Yes. The core covers programs, applications, budgets and payments. Reimbursements, purchase orders and Time & Effort are modules that are switched on for your organization only if you want them.
What is Time & Effort?
An optional module for documenting the salaries and wages charged to federal awards. Employees and supervisors sign their certifications and activity reports electronically, and reconciliation and audit packets are built from the signed records.
